The Puffin Foundation has awarded DecadesOut a 2015 filmmaking grant for its development of the documentary short, The Weather Project.
---
DecadesOut a New York-based nonprofit arts organization dedicated to raising public awareness of the impact and social relevancy that science has on the arts, culture and human expression, has been named a grant recipient for the 2015 Puffin Foundation for its development of the documentary short, The Weather Project.
The Puffin Foundation Ltd. has made it its mission to open the doors of artistic expression by providing grants to artists and art organizations that are often excluded from mainstream opportunities due to their race, gender, or social philosophy.
DecadesOut is proud of obtaining this $1,250 grant with its ongoing work on The Weather Project, a documentary short which explores how an amazing group of artists tackle the ever-growing problem of climate change. It follows the NACL ensemble (North American Cultural Laboratory) and its outdoor performance of the same name.
DecadesOut is very appreciative of the support and looks forward to a continued partnership with the Puffin Foundation.
