DecadesOut Participates in ABCyz Art Collective
ABCyz is a collaborative art exhibition of NYC-based contemporary art collectives, curatorial groups and art publishers, each of which was formed in the last four years.
A group show of group shows, ABCyz is a salon-style exhibition of independent out-of-pocket exhibitions, recession-style creative processes and guerilla promotions. Over thirty art groups will be exhibiting their work during the three-day show.
Participants include artist-run spaces and projects, new curatorial initiatives, not-for-profit art groups and other art collectives participating via an open web forum. Art works, posters and publications will be on display.
Screenings and performances will also take place during the show.
Groups include: 179 canal, Art Social Club, BHQFU, Boffo, Brooklyn is Burning, Camel Collective, Daily Operation, DecadesOut, The Deli Storeroom, demonstration, The Dirty Dirty, Elwa Productions, English Kills Art Gallery, FARIMANI, Fort , HKJB, KCLOG, Kunstverein NY, K.Mustermann, The Metric System, NORTE MAAR, Peru Ana Ana Peru, said, Saint Cecilia’s, Silvershed, Second Floor, Smartspaces.org, Submerged Art, Temporary States, Three's Company, Under Minerva, the Underground Library, Vector Productions Inc., WET ROPES, Whitney Does Chelsea: The Royal Show (formerly Whitney’s Bi), Why and Wherefore, and Yes Gallery.
